well that beats what i can ever possibly do. My whole school has only 650 computers all macs. Jusy about every model from the first imacs. Mostly emacs. I was going in the process of putting Panther and F@H on them all but then school ended. Yes my school runs on OS 9 but not for long when school starts again i'll be putting panther on every last one of em....... hopefully :)

wow... that's all i can say. wow. i've been getting up in the ranks slowly but surely. rank 122 as of a minute ago. but wow. i'm always on the lookout for new machines to add but all the ones i get that would be awesome folders are being used as servers (just got a new dual 2.4GHz Xeon :) ) stupid servers... they would be much better utilized as folding work horses. :p

That's all the G5 Xserve my school got does. We haven't quite figured out how to make it do anything else. We can't figure out how to make it serve. We would like it to do a macintosh manager style thing like we've been doing in OS 9

... And I thought that I was doing pretty good getting ready to enter the top twenty. Looks like I might have to add some more machines.

I just looked up your power on MacNN, 252.8 GHz. Thats insane.

That is insane. I'm up to 15,000 a day now. I should be at 20,000 a day by the weekend. Team Macrumors is going straight to the top!

Go Team Macrumors!

Select one of the member pages from the drop down at the top of the page (e.g. Active Members) than change the Level drop down to Medium or higher.

280 GHz and counting: truly amazing JT! Do you have much more to add or are you reaching plateau? thanks to you (and all the other dedicated folders) now we're over 50K/day, heading to the top 10!!!

(...and, with a little bit more effort, we're ready to start gaining back on team mac os x)

it would be nice to have two mac teams in the top 10, (of course, most of the machines are not macs, but we don't have to advertise that part...)

Simply amazing...you're turning into quite the one man powerhouse! :D

We'll be able to take the #1 Mac team spot back in short order if this keeps up. :)

This is great.... and you say you still have a lot more to go? :D We'll be asking for the #1 Mac Folding team spot back in a few weeks!

This is very disturbing. However, the user name is "jethroted@yahoo.com"

I don't thing that would return points to "jethroted" but I don't really know.

 doing a search for "jethroted@yahoo.com" using the "is exactly" option on Stanford DOES bring up "Jethroted" though.....

To those of you from folding-community: Did this ever complete a work unit?

it sounds like the client was modified to ask for full processor power but at a higher priority than idle.... like maximum.

Jethroted: is there a (easy) way to uninstall the client you created? Or for testing purposes will I need to back up my hard drive and then reinstall?

Sorry to doubt you, but this IS pretty serious.

This allows two users, one user@xxx and the other user@yyy (i.e. same username but different domain), to be kept separate in Stanford's database. The domain name is not displayed, but is used "behind the scenes" to maintain unique user names.

This is how I understand it anyway.

That looks like the files tied to the folding@home app I developed. How did you get a hold of that? If you want to take it off your compter, then just delete the entire win32 folder. You should not even have access to that msi installer however. I really want to know where it came from, and how you got it. It should have been called "folding.msi"
