i just hope it takes Macs to the next level at the first half of 2010, maybe a month of second half can be used, latest should be August '10. Please :apple: i can afford a computer once every 4 years, let me get the latest and greatest.

Taking the Mac to the next level sound more like an especially fancy OS upgrade rather than a hardware upgrade to me.

Well, it's one or the other, right? :)

Or maybe both?

15" Macbook Pro with a Core i7 720QM cpu and 1GB dedicate gpu. I want a portable powerful workstation that I can easily take back and forth from PA to NYC.
I want a portable quad core workstation I could write and test multithreaded apps with, and have fun with it.

I just read the latest Macrumors post- https://www.macrumors.com/2010/01/3...-google-adobe-next-iphone-2010-macs-and-more/
New Macs for 2010 are going to take Apple to the next level, that makes me loose some hope for new MBPs soon because taking something to the next level takes more than 8 month and if it's a very cool update it means there will be a keynote and that will be probably in summer.... What do you guys think?

Didn't see that in the article.

Habitus :apple:

MW2 works fine in Bootcamp for many.

MW2 plays fine on the card currently in the MBP, but the problem is that card is I think 2 years old, and is soon not going to be able to play bleeding edge games that may come out later this year with good settings.
