Suprised that you can not remove it. I thought it would be just taking the screen apart and removing the small unit that isight is and re-assemble the screen...no?

Just to add, there ought to be a way to remove/replace the iSight as if not, then apple would be in a position requiring the replacement of an entire screen just because a small (cheap) component has failed.
