I have my checking account with a credit union and has been a love/hate relationship since they merged with another credit union but with te new Chase app I opened my account online this weekend. Will love not having to go to the bank for a deposit.

This isn't direct deposit.

And it is cool, unlimitedx. I wish my credit union would wise up and make an iPhone app. I've only been asking for two years.

I'd settle for a mobile-friend/optimized web page, although the normal one isn't TOO bad.

I'm hoping that Chase will raise the $1,000 per day limit (30-day limit is $3,000), because right now it's useless for depositing paychecks.

That is a pretty cool feature, but my bank is literally one minute away so it wouldn't effect me too much. All I need is the mint.com app, and Im set.

For those who are paid once a month, less than $1,000 a month is basically poverty level in high COL (cost of living) cities.

shush (I live in Seattle, rated the most overpriced city to live in even <- wages here do not meet COL very well basically). And I don't get paid once a month (once weekly by one company and bi-monthly by my other job).

And I think if I get enough hours I make around 1000 a month. Of course that depends on the hours I get.

Been using this with USAA for a year now. It really is great, especially for those of us that are self-employed and receive checks for services rendered in the mail. Good to see some other banks taking advantage of this.

Im like others and have USAA. Isnt USAA a 4000.00 dollar limit a day? At least thats what my limit is. Seriously USAA all the way, I will never go back to any other bank

It's $10,000. It's a military bank and bonuses and travel pay are often high. And you're right, USAA is by far the best bank I have ever been with.

If you were paid once a month instead and the paycheck is $1001, you're screwed (but richer)

I did try it out using a smaller check and it worked great. Posted the next day, just like ATM.

So I have a business and a personal account with Chase. They are linked.

Apparently, if you have a setup like mine, you can only deposit into the business account at this time.

I've been told they should have that resolved soon. We'll see....
