Yea that's what I'm hoping for from this update just for the simple reason that I don't want to have to manage two OS's and not have my environment set up exactly how I want it when I go out on the field.

When I'm at home I am at my workstation with my big monitors. But there is nothing I hate more than going out on the field with a laptop that has just been sitting there for a while. It feels like a rented machine rather than my machine. Know what I mean?

I know how you feel. I have to keep 3 systems (my workstation, my macbook air, and my work system) personalized and 3 CAD files updated and all same versions. I

On a positive note, I have today successfully ran Spaceclaim under parallels 9 and (so far) with no performance hits on my 2011 Macbook Pro!! More testing needed....
Parallels has come a long way...!
Still hoping for a kick-ass Macbook Pro video card though!

Isn't a "Workstation" GPU just a normal-a$$ GPU with a different bios and a Sh-tload of video RAM?

You can flash your gaming GPU's to workstation GPU's. Today's gaming GPU's have 3GB of video RAM which is descent enough.

But you can forget about getting support if you need to troubleshoot something.
