I just gleeked all over the place

That happens to me like once every couple of months...I never knew it had a name and I'd always thought it was just spit trapped in my cheek or something.

Me, too, but I can't do it on command. I had friends in high school that could do it.

HA I am the master at doing this, I can get around 6ft of distance and even more if i have a mint in my mouth. There's actually a bulb under your tongue on the frenulum (oral frenulum) that contains the saliva glands that allow this to happen. The tighter you stretch the frenululm, the tighter those gland exits become, therefore you can control the distance.
Grosses everyone out, but they don't realize how hard it is to master doing it at will!
Congrats for discovering your hidden talent LOL :p

Push your tongue up against the roof of your mouth and push it forward and up, folding back agaisnt itself.:)

lol i am here trying very very hard, i just can't do it...my mouth is all full of saliva but it doenst shoot out....arggg:mad:

I'm deadly accurate.

There were some kids in front of us at the movies one time that wouldn't shut up, so I gave them a saliva shower. They had no idea where it was coming from. :D

You shouldn't be using any saliva already in your mouth, it's "fresh" stuff coming straight from under the tounge.:)

If you can't cover your mouth you should automatically without thinking point your mouth at your shoulder, I very very rarely don't cover my mouth when sneezing and I have no problem forcing my mouth closed when I yawn.

Yawn into my shoulder? I sneeze into the crook of my arm, but I never yawn into my shoulder. That just seems odd to me.

Can't you just say you sneezed or coughed on someone? Youth and their trying to coin new words.

Gleeking has nothing to do with sneezing or coughing. You should read the wikipedia article.

Congrats for discovering your hidden talent LOL :p

I can't do it on command. It just happens naturally when I yawn open-mouthed. Even if I cover my mouth with my hand I end up with a hand covered in a small amount of watery saliva. Gross! :)

I'm in the crowd that can do it on command.

To help though, as suggested above, try a mint. Any sour hard candy or carbonation from Coke and we're talking too much distance.
