I just got my iPhone x and I'm loving it.

I've only had it for 3 hours but I'm already impressed by it. So glad I waited for the X instead of buying the 8

I pre ordered my iPhone x from vodafone (Qatar). The pre order customer line was awesome. They had waiters serving pastries, hot drinks and juice.

When I was unboxing my iPhone I was shaking from excitement. I got the silver 64gb, and let me tell you the camera doesn't do it justice. The color is much prettier in person. The glass really gives it a nice finish.

The OLED display is absolutely gorgeous. Wish apple went OLED sooner. The colors have a nice balance.

Ive learned the swipe gestures already. Very easy to use.

Face ID exceeded my expectations. I was wary of it, but it is snappy and quick to unlock my phone.

Nice, can’t wait to get mine. Was supposed to get it today, but I’m out of the country, so have to wait till Monday. First world problems, eh? :rolleyes:

One question that I don’t see answered anywhere, what iOS version does it ship with?

The guy who posted yesterday from the UK when he got his said it was 11.03 his arrived with.
 
The more I see such threads the more I feel sad I have to wait for my iPhone.

I did nothing wrong as I was on time to Pre order but when I got in it showed 3 to 4 weeks delivery.

Waiting for the Carrier to offer it to me faster. If so then I can cancel my AOS order.
 
I have to admit, I’ve been surprised at how well it works. Face ID is very responsive, the interface that I thought would be a bit annoying is smooth and easy to use. It’s a wonderful upgrade.

I will return my iPhone X... I hate the sharp edges between the screen / back and the metal, and I also cannot comfortably reach the emoticon/keyboard button in the lower left side with my thumb (I use the phone with one hand). Also, the display changes color too much when viewing at slight angles for my taste, reminds me of 10 year old LCD displays unfortunately.

I owned every iPhone since the start, and this is the first one I will be returning. Disappointing :(

I think there’s a thread for returning iPhone X. You made a wrong turn it’s the next exit.

Awesome. Everything seems to be really positive so far about the X. I ordered both colors so I'll go with whichever I lean towards. It's going in a case anyway so it doesn't much matter for me.

Went to an optician appointment this morning and in the distance saw the line! Took a quick pic. Have to say it was not as long a queue as I thought it would be. I guess pre-ordering helps the madness.

That is nothing. Check this picture of one of the Apple Stores in Hong Kong.

There were lines on both sides of the store and lots of people standing to see the excitement and some people asking to buy the phones at US $150 to US $200 higher.
