That looks like chaos, it's not even a line just people crowded around the store.That is nothing. Check this picture of one of the Apple Stores in Hong Kong.
There were lines on both sides of the store and lots of people standing to see the excitement and some people asking to buy the phones at US $150 to US $200 higher.
So far I like my X. However app optimization is a pain in the arse right now
Yes! A lot of my favorite apps haven’t optimized their apps for iPhone X. I hope it doesn’t take them months like when the iPhone 6 came out.

Crazy sexy.
I will return my iPhone X... I hate the sharp edges between the screen / back and the metal, and I also cannot comfortably reach the emoticon/keyboard button in the lower left side with my thumb (I use the phone with one hand). Also, the display changes color too much when viewing at slight angles for my taste, reminds me of 10 year old LCD displays unfortunately.
I owned every iPhone since the start, and this is the first one I will be returning. Disappointing
I think we get it from the other postings. Take it back and call it lesson learned.
YYou got the 64gb?! What is the initial storage out the box? I have one on hold but idk if 64gbs is enoughI've only had it for 3 hours but I'm already impressed by it. So glad I waited for the X instead of buying the 8
I pre ordered my iPhone x from vodafone (Qatar). The pre order customer line was awesome. They had waiters serving pastries, hot drinks and juice.
When I was unboxing my iPhone I was shaking from excitement. I got the silver 64gb, and let me tell you the camera doesn't do it justice. The color is much prettier in person. The glass really gives it a nice finish.
The OLED display is absolutely gorgeous. Wish apple went OLED sooner. The colors have a nice balance.
Ive learned the swipe gestures already. Very easy to use.
Face ID exceeded my expectations. I was wary of it, but it is snappy and quick to unlock my phone.

I was so excited I didn’t even check. I checked my settings after installing a few apps and it said 56GB. So I’m guessing it’s around late 50s
So that means when my current phone is on 11.1, I first have to setup the X as new, update it and then restore from iCloud?
Yeah, the predictive "I" is so much easier to press than just the I key itself. /s

16GB is still enough for many people. I’m sure 64GB is fine for many more.
Ok thanks! I may take the 64gb . I have a 128gb iphone 7+ right now and ive only used about 50gbs and thats with extra crap i could delete still on the phone. Maybe i should wait for the 256gb but im impatient lol
Set up as new, update, reset (erase all contents and settings), then restore from backup. I had to do it on my 8 since I'm running the beta.
Although now that I think about it, there may be a prompt to update to the latest version when you try to restore from the backup. Don't really recall since it's different when you're on the beta train.

Yeah unfortunately. When I picked mine up I couldn’t play with it on the way home in the car because it had to do the update to get through the setup process.
I have been playing around with my X and I also think it great. True tone looks so much better on compared to off. Whites are way too blue with it off. FaceID works great. Hasn't failed me yet. Several of my apps have not updated for the X, so that's a little disappointing. Audio through the speaks sounds great compared to my 7 Plus. No problem with airpods. Wireless charging works good. Just make sure you buy a Qi charge that says fast charging. I have 3 Samsung chargers. 2 of them say fast charge and they both work. The 3rd one does not say fast charge and it does not work.
I've got an S8 and up until late last night was never going to get an X. I've heard great things about it from colleagues at work - how are you finding the phone in general compared to the S8?
on my SE I turned off predictive text and that fixed it. On the X I set the device up as new and it hasnt had the issue.

It's actually shocking when something just scans your face and you are in instead of waiting for the touchID prompt.
