I am just as anxious as everyone else who ordered a celluar iPad Air 2 but I keep reminding myself that they are still within the available to ship in 2 to 4 day window.
I think the wifi models are coming from China and the cellular models are in the states already. Thus they can still deliver our cellular models as soon as the wifi models will deliver.
Just trying to stay positive.
Honestly this is better than my current wait for my iPhone 6 +.

Also, I'm in the ArkLaTex area, US. Holding on to slight hope that it is stateside in PA and when it ships it'll deliver quickly.
Kentucky here. Hopefully it ships straight from the Louisville distribution center. I kept thinking maybe that's why mine wasn't being prioritized.
I don't think that's correct. Those that were engraved are coming from China. The others seem to be coming from the States. My Wi-fi model is coming from PA.
Just called UPS and told them to hold the box containing my iPad. I want to pick it up way before the 1:45-5:45 time window they give for delivery. Good thing their distribution center is 5 minutes away from my house. Feels like old times, this is exactly what I did for the first iPad.
Nope, they put the wrong sims in and are currently opening each ipad and changing the sims to the new Apple sim and scotch taping the packages back together Whoops LOL
Oh man why did I go and check my credit card. The pending charge is not there any more... but card has only been charged like 40-some for the cover... Maybe it's just in limbo where they JUST charged it and it hasn't gone through the system yet... yeah that must be it.

Staples Pre-Order
Anyone order from Staples...Had to use up about $300 in rewards and did the pre-order Sat AM. I'm getting conflicting answers from Online chat. One said they are shipping directly from Apple, expect by Friday, or they are being sent to our distribution centers and will arrive no later than 11/3.

Someone upthread mentioned that the disappearing pending charge meant your device was about to ship, and then the real charge will go through. So it could be a good thing.
My charge is still there but its listed as a PENDING charge. I'm using CitiBank. I ordered it on the 17th.

Got my shipment notification with UPS tracking a little while ago. Should be here Thursday Morning. Silver/64GB/Wifi. Got the new dark blue iPad Smart Case delivered today for it.

I think this is true. Mine has been on pre-authorization since I placed the order. It just disappeared within the past hour or so. Still holding onto hope!

Are you using Chase as well? CitiBank usually takes 24 hours to remove a pending charge.

Are you using Chase as well? CitiBank usually takes 24 hours to remove a pending charge.
No, I used my Barclaycard. The pending charge has literally been sitting under pre-authorization since the 17th. It's gone as of an hour ago. Please don't dash my small amount of hope.
