iPad I just placed my iPad Air 2 order. Post your shipping estimates!

It's been 'Preparing for Shipment' for 2 days now. I think it has something to do with personalised engraving.
128GB Wifi LTE.
Delivery is supposedly 27th October :D

I live an hour from Harrisburg. I ordered my iPad Air 2 case from Apple at 1:15 on Friday and got it on Monday. I ordered my iPad Air 2 (black, 128 GB) as soon as the site went live at 11:10 AM on Friday, got the Oct 22-24 delivery window, and it still (8 PM tonight) says "processing".

Still, I bet I get it by the 24th. I don't remember Apple being wrong on that delivery date yet, and I'm one of those dudes who gets everything (new model iPad/iPhone, sometimes MacBook Air) as soon as it comes out.
 
Ordered my iPad Air 2 today from the local A&T Store. The estimated shipping date is 10/27-10/31. I ordered the Space Gray/Black 128GB WiFi +cellular.
 
My tracking is live now... Delivery Thursday :(

Oh well, I haven't had an iPad Air 2 for the first 60 years, so another day ain't gonna kill me :D

Fedex is very very reasonable to deal with. Their delivery targets are always tight.

UPS on the other hand sent me a message that said my Smart Cover would come in between 12 and 4. It's 7:30 right now and no one has shown up.

I hope that FedEx is doing the delivery for the actual iPad Air 2.

"What can brown do for you?" How about be within 4 hours of your delivery window.
 
I had a Silver 128GB LTE ordered on Saturday. I changed my mind today and went with the WiFi version to save some money.

I cancelled my Cellular order and ordered the WiFi 2 hours ago. It's already in Preparing for shipment status so they're moving fast on these.

I placed one through Verizon. Expected delivery 10/31. What gives. Ordered it first day eligible pre order for Verizon
 
Still Processing and CC has never been charged. Got both of my cases (and CCs were charged) yesterday.

2 X 128GB LTE's

I was hoping to get them before I leave on a trip 6am on Friday but not looking good. Guess Apple isn't going to hit their early delivery estimate since mine has been Oct22-24 since I placed the order...

The funny thing is after 10 minutes of saying UPS is close to 4 hours late the UPS guy dropped off my iPad Air 2 Smart Cover.

This happened last year with the iPad Mini Retina. The iPad Mini Retina with Cellular shipped about a week or two after the Wifi.

The Wifi models sell way more so they are probably getting prioritized.

From what I've seen online the 16-64GB Cellular have started shipping but if you ordered a 128GB I haven't seen anyone actually get theirs shipped yet.
 
Mine's in Incheon, South Korea. Just landed from Chengdu, China. My shed delivery is Friday, 10/24. Originally it was 10/29-10/31 so I am happy.
 
AT&T Order status says preparing to ship with a shipment date of 11/3 through 11/7. Ordered a 64GB Air 2 Space Grey with AT&T LTE late in the afternoon on Friday the 17th right in the store.


It's been preparing to ship since like the 19th though. I was hoping AT&T was being a little conservative on their ship dates, like they always are, but maybe this time around I'm going to be waiting. Sucks if I have to wait another 2 and a half weeks .

avail. to ship 2-4 days, delivers oct. 22-24
 
iPad Air 2 - 128GB Space Grey WiFi + Cellular has arrived. Doing a restore from backup now.

What the hell.....

My silver 64gb cellular ordered Friday morning still in processing items mode.

I have about had it... poor service. Can't get any answer from Apple.
 
My iPad Air2 Shipped (U.S.)! :D

Ordered Air2 Wifi 128GB SG on 10/17 around 2 pm (as an afterthought even...lol) + the Air leather case and the case shipped that same day and was due for delivery yesterday (10/20) but was delayed due to a "late arriving truck". I finally got it today. The Air2 window was 10/22 - 10/24.

Air2 ship notice came just before 5:30 pm this evening with an expected delivery of tomorrow (10/22). UPS just updated from creating label to showing Harrisburg origin around 8 pm tonight with the same expected delivery for tomorrow.

Since I am about 2 hours from Harrisburg, if they leave tonight and roll into Horsham (that's usually where it goes before the stuff is loaded on a truck in my area), then tomorrow is reasonable. Otherwise, I gotta hope the PA Turnpike doesn't get gummed up to force a delay like what happened to my case!

From my experience, new iPad's have come from China. Refurbed iPad's have come from Tennessee. Apple has a 'just in time' delivery system where orders are met in real time which means their go to source is typically Foxconn in China.

My refurb Mini 2 is being shipped by FedEx. It has reached ANCHORAGE, AK from China :).
