Based on what we have seen before, albeit with Apple synchronising deliveries with store releases (which they failed miserably to do this time), the shipments will move from Sydney overnight and be on the road in other major metropolitan areas Monday morning. At least fingers crossed.

Yeah the iPad Air 2s via TNT that were heading to Melbourne from Sydney are now in Melbourne. CBD people will get their iPads today probably and then the rural people tomorrow.

I'm really bummed. I ordered immediately after it went live from Apple. It was originally scheduled for delivery today but it spent two days in Incheon. So now, it'll be next week. Really, really disappointed

And now to add insult to injury, my package has now gone from Salt Lake City to San Francisco (where I live) and now back out to Salt Lake City.

I wouldn't believe it if I didn't see it myself on the UPS tracking website

That's awesome! How are you liking it?

It just shipped! Apple says it will be delivered this wednesday! #

The Air 2 is amazing. It's the first iPad I've ever owned, and I'm pretty darn impressed by pretty much everything, especially with how fast it is. I'm sure you'll enjoy yours too :)

I am truly vexed with this UPS tracking system...
Ordered my iPad last Tuesday, it shipped on Wednesday, with the delivery date of Friday October 24. It went from China to Korea, sat there until today, when it flew to Anchorage Alaska, and has since departed for God knows where. Originally was supposed to deliver on the 24th, and even now it says it will deliver on the 27th which is today by the end of the day! Now I have no idea where it's going or when it will be delivered! UPS usually is so accurate on their shipping and delivery dates I'm surprised by the inaccuracies on this shipment. At this point I just hope it gets to me by the end of the day Thursday before I have to go back to work on Friday! We will see

Received notification today that I should be receiving mine in the next 48hrs. I'm 200km from my state capital so I'm guessing it will be the full 2 days before I see it. Ordered on Sunday.

Ordered yesterday and transferred the money immediately via Online Banking, however it still says "awaiting payment". How long does it usually take for Apple to receive the payment?

128G wifi+LTE, SG; after three delivery date changes and a two day vacation in Korea, UPS says it is finally on a truck for delivery today. Can't wait to get home and do the unboxing! Now if I can only get AT&T to finally ship my new iPhone 6 Plus!!!

I ordered my 128GB (Gold) iPad Air yesterday. So far I haven't received any shipping info on it yet. Hopefully soon though.

Direct Ship iPad Air 2

So I ventured into the local Verizon Store and finally ordered my iPad Air 2 - Gold - 128GB. Of course no stock on hand, I had to do what they called "Direct Ship" to home after paying for it in the store. Scheduled delivery date is 11/4/2014, since the chosen iPad was in stock at the warehouse.

For those that are just interest in ship dates, read no further.

For those that want a story, proceed.

So I traded my iPhone 5 in for $200 to Verizon (for a gift certificate) and managed to get a Verizon Smart rewards $100 of iPad promo code. Sold my iPad 4, 16 GB for $300 to a person at work.

Interestingly enough, Verizon is offering $100 off the price of a iPad Air 2 with 2 yr contract. So brings down the 128GB model to $729 in store. I managed to get the promo coupon for $100 applied to that, then added the $200 gift certificate. So $429 out the door, plus tax. Not to bad.

I did not need to upgrade, but with the gift certificate, $100 off promo and cash from previous sale, why not.

In the Verizon store, I did manage to reproduce the spotting holding the iPad with one hand to the right of the Apple logo and felt the vibration of the speakers in the pad itself as described in other posts. No biggie to me, those are mitigated changing my usage patterns.

Looking forward to receiving the upgrade, like the price and why not.

How did you add that $100 promo on top of the original $100 discount? I also have that couoon but it doesn't allow me to use it online on an iPad air 2.
