I feel kind of stupid for not recognizing this... but does anyone have a program that locks the iris in place?
When the iris opens up, and closes, colors shift... so when you step out of the frame... it shifts the iris to the back ground, but when you step back in, it adjusts to your face causing the colors it captured to change.
