I thought it was on by default.
Mine works and I don't remember enabling it.

Poeben said:My question is..
When I use cmd-opt-ctl-8 it switches to negative image (with color) for about a second then goes to negative greyscale. If I change it manually in SysPrefs, it will stay in negative color. Is this normal? Seems like a bug to me. BTW, I'm on 10.3.9.
Yes, that's what my iBook did under Panther (10.3.x), too. But after I upgraded to Tiger (10.4.x) it actually stays in color on the inverse. Very Cool!Poeben said:My question is..

There's actually two different kinds of zoom. One for just the active window, and one for the whole desktop screen. At least on my macs (10.4.2) Command and + zooms just the active window, whereas Command and option and + zooms the whole desktop (which I find myself using more and more).mad jew said:Hold down COMMAND and + to zoom in, COMMAND and - to zoom out.![]()
Kobushi said:Could be.... I'm using 10.3.9 and it does the same thing you describe. I also just realised that my volume is up really loud and if I accidently linger over something in that particular sysPref screen the scary lady yells at me![]()

Stampyhead said:Oh my goodness, that wasn't cool at all. That was frightening. Why on earth would anyone want their screen to look like that? It was like looking at old color film negatives,
I was wondering what the hell you were talking about. It looked like a regualr Subaru, then I realised I was still in inverted mode, so it looked normal.840quadra said:Do what was said in the beginning of this post,
Enjoy!
i have setup ( a while back knowing about this trick) an album in all negatives to enjoy, and share with friends.. Everyone I show thinks it is crazy!

Why is it that I can only zoom in all the way or not at all? When I hit OPT-CMD-+ it automatically zooms all the way in, and I can't stop it part-way in.mrichmon said:Hotkey to enable/disable zoom is option-command-8. Then option-command-+ and option-command-- increases and decreases zoom level. I work with zoom enabled all the time and have not found it to affect system performance.
command-+ and command-- increase and decrease the font size in Safari. This is not a zoom operation since the graphics and window borders do not change size.
