1. MMS
2. C&P
3. Stereo bluetooth
4. To-dos

All of these except stereo bluetooth should be possible with a software upgrade. But who knows, consumer interests seems to be the last of Apple's concerns these days.

1) Flash would be nice.

2) Ability to TURN OFF EDGE. Apple came up with the "abroad" option to turn off data features... but I wish we could just turn off data completely (except for WI-FI). I want it guaranteed that I can travel abroad and not get data charges. AND, I want to turn off EDGE here... when the phone jumps between EDGE and Wi-Fi... but I'd prefer it'd just stick with my Wi-Fi signal.

3) Not have phone jump back to home screen after I've just e-mailed a photo to someone. This is a recent change with the phone... that I don't like. I like to return back to WHERE I WAS... not back to the home screen.

4) The camera shuttle speed is a bit slow. I get morphed pictures all the time. If I'm walking & take a self-portrait... often time my head is morphed and stretched. (It's not really blurry... it's more of a morphing thing).

5) Better speaker quality & louder too. When I put my voice mail on speaker phone... it's almost inaudible if i'm not in a place of total silence. When I play music over the build-in speaker... the music is distorted at the highest volume level.

6) Did I already mention that I want don't like jumping back to the home screen after I e-mail a photo? I want to return back to where I was... not go all the way back to my home screen... only to find the photo in my iPhone album again.

But... I love my phone. And, it was worth the original price. (I did use my credit to upgrade to Leopard on my laptop). American Express also gave me back a hundred bucks.

How about a way to plug my iPhone into my laptop... and then permit my laptop to use the EDGE sytem (via the iPhone) so that I can surf the net (and do other things) with the service I'm already paying for through AT & T?

Basically... my iPhone permits my laptop to go wireless through EDGE (or eventually 3G).

This would be cool.

well since this is an open question. I wish my iPhone had "thought screen technology".

Yep. not "touch" screen. "thought" screen. I think this is the next logical step in computer interaction.

So in a decade or two, I want to be able to think about calling someone and then bam! my iPhone dials it.

HORIZONTAL SMS KEYBOARD!!! PPLLLEEAAAASSSEEEEEEEEE:eek:

*breathes*

2) better stability in safari
3) the ability to bluetooth photos from my phone to anything else
4)MMS!!!!

Ok firstly i should point out i don't have an iPhone so you obviously have more experience than me but i was under the impression that there was a setting called something like turn data off which stopped any data transfer over EDGE/GPRS etc. What's this 'abroad' feature, is it that but only when your out of the country?

-------------

Ok i just had a look on Google and see that what i was thinking of was 'Data Roaming' on/off which is obviously for when you are out of the country not just general on/off for data as i thought. Ignore me while i stand in the corner....

Java. My stupid employer requires java to access what is for me the most important part of their site. If I could access it at any time my job would be so much better.

a non-web based language translator app. I travel to different countries weekly. But don't want to pay for international data roaming. ;-)

The ability to install widgets.

The email issues already mentioned

IM - which is free - instead of SMS, which counts towards my text count.

-Cut and paste: good for txt, email, website links etc...
-More memory for safari: I will be writing an entry on one page, toggle over to another, go back to my original and find the page wiped and my writing gone...annoying...
-a2dp!!! I need it for my car :(
-open ringtones (say no to profit gouging)
-better battery life (I get about 9 hours now after heavy internet usage and mild phone/texting)
-application support (feb 08)

a2dp is the biggest out of the list though
