A lot of the apps I use don’t seem optimized for the Max. On top of that I find a lot of odd things. Apps with a title and pics missing, artwork missing. As well as some apps looking odd on the bigger screen. But I attribute that to just developers just needing to update their apps.

They don't. Developers got official notification the same day you did, 9 days ago. Takes longer than 9 days to update an app for new screen size, test it, submit it, and push it live.

I know, I’m saying they “can” and should. Doesnr make sense to come out with a new model and not have apps ready for it. Know what I mean..

This is why I prefer to buy 2nd hand 1 year old (since launch) iPhone. By the time I get it, apps mostly already optimised and I save 30-40% off retail price 🙂

During Tim Cook as CEO era, newly launch product is less optimised and first batch of buyers is like beta tester

Unless you're a select develop though. You don't find out about the new devices until the same time as the general public. Cat and mouse.

I am sure they did. That does not force them to update. In fact is they are not making money on their app they will never update it. It is all about money. How many apps are you willing to pay (again) to have updated.

Yeah Apple should finish their new phones in september and then release them only to Devs for 6 months, so we get outdated phones with apps optimised from day one!

Also we should be 18 when we’re born so we don’t have to wait years to buy cigarettes and lottery tickets!
