You are the only one to bring up money......

Your ability to reason and keep up with a conversation are extremely lacking.

I've been participating in discussion forums since 1994, I know a troll when I see one, friend.

How much money do you need? If I want to buy your userid and password, how much?

Therefore it will never bend.

The way I see it, "bending" is in the same category as "cracked screens". Many of us have dropped our phones and iPads dozens of times and it survived. Yet many of us have had that one instance where a tiny 12" fall on that "wrong" corner and it shattered the screen. That doesn't mean the products are fragile, it just means that physics is undeniable.

So, if we can accept that the wrong angle can crack a phone screen, then why are people trying so hard to prove that the larger and flatter iPhone is the exception to damage? Just like with the screens, then maybe the wrong bend in your pocket or suitcase can twist the aluminum frame enough to bend the phone.

Its a topic worth discussing, especially when people show proof. So acting as if two weeks of ownership proves a lifetime of durability is silly and defeats the purpose of discussion forums.

No iPhone 6's were bent in the posting of this message.

BJ

I just put my iPhone 6 in my pocket.

It didn't bend.

BJ

lol. My 6 Plus is straight too.

----------

Let me explain.

In the end, the people in this thread warning iPhone 6 users about bending are seeing their message fall on deaf ears because we can afford replacements if they break.

So it's all about money. That, and a lot of stupidity.

You mean if I put a lightweight aluminum strip of metal, say, like a ruler, in my pocket it would deform and bend over time?

Did you go to graduate school? PHD?

BJ

If my 6 Plus bends and I have to buy another one, that 750.00 would set me back pretty good. Unfortunately I don't have much money to spend on phones. But yeah, I will be taking extra care to make sure it doesn't bend.

And that, fine sir, is why only 9 out of 10,000,000 iPhone 6's have been bent.

Who wouldn't take extra care to make sure their razor-thin aluminum and glass prized possession doesn't bend?

6 morons, apparently, and the Android savants that they've enabled.

You just can't help flaunting wealth and material goods. I think it's clear from the way people react that I'm not the only one who finds this in poor taste.

If you are incredibly good at your job, earn a high salary, and can afford expensive stuff, good for you. Just don't expect people to buy your arguments because of your wealth. Arguments stand or fall on their logical merits, not on how many dollars back them.

I really hope your iPhone gets permanently bent in your pocket. I really do.

Over time, stressing the same spot on the phone in your pocket, may cause it to start to bend.

Very well said. Thank you. You can't test the longevity of something when you've only had it for a couple of weeks.

Over time, leaving dry cereal in a bowl full of milk may cause it to get soggy.

This has got to be one of the all time dumbest, inapt analogies ever

So I should treat all my shirts the same. I mean, they are all shirts right. I'll just send my dress shirts through the washer with everything else. I don't iron my t shirts, so why should I treat my dress shirts any differently?

Awww, damnit shirt company - my dress shirts are all wrinkled and faded. What's wrong with the quality control?

Another very lame strawman.

It didn't bend.

its a phone for crying out loud...

where do they breed people like you?

do you honestly think people care how many ipads or rolex, bmws or wives you've got?

this is a tech discussion forum not the court of louis ix...

you should seek professional help mate. i'm sure you'll be able to afford it.

He said he put it in his pocket and it is still straight. Show me who ever made the claim that simply putting it in your pocket and pulling it out caused it to bend. This is a wild ass exaggeration of any claims ever made by anyone. But you already know that.

Except that it isn't. The argument that "it bends just by putting it in your pocket" has been made here over and over again.

Easy. Read through ANY of the threads on bending. People have said that over and over and over again.

One users experience does not equal everyone else in the worlds experience.

Neither of those things relate at all to what I was talking about. Your iPhone isn't bent now, but will it stay that way?

These phones have a history of bending easily, so why do you think you're so different from everyone else? When it happens to you, I hope you come back here and share it with us.

If my iPhone 6 bends it will be my fault, I will go to the Apple store and buy a new iPhone 6.

I once sat on a pair of sunglasses. I went to the Ray-Ban store and bought a new pair of sunglasses.

I once had a dream that a bunch of poor people stopped telling a bunch of rich people how they should spend their fun money.

I didn't sit on my phone.

No, you just shoved it in and yanked it out of a case every single day for two weeks. Not a natural way to handle a device. Hopefully you've learned your lesson and will treat your next iPhone 6+ properly.

Does anyone know what kind of case OP was using? I am actually quite concerned about how tight the Apple leather case feels on my 6 Plus, and try to minimize the number of times I switch cases.

I don't even think this guy is real.

I mean, with only 9 bent iPhone 6's out of 17,000,000 sold, what are the odds that one of them wound up here? It would be like hitting the lottery and surviving a parachute fail from 20,000 feet on the same day.

lol, been reading your posts. You can't be genuine. Some sort of parody character of all that is wrong in this world. If you are for real someone should give you a train wreck TV show, I think it would be popular.

I cant believe how many people still believe that there is only 9 bent iPhones out there. lmao. Ever see the movie Idiocracy? I swear, earth is gonna be exactly like that in 10 years.
