I hope more people start to realize that this is a REAL issue. Just because it hasn't happened to you yet, doesn't mean it's fake or someone's trying to sell Samsung phones.
Well this is obviously fake. I know this because Consumer Reports tested a different spot on the iPhone 6 and determined that spot - different than the spot you want us to believe is bent on your phone - was no more susceptible to bending than any other mass market phone.
Consumer Reports: 1

Apple: $699
Agreed. "Don't put the phone in your pocket"......seriously? Where would you recommend I put it then?
I'm thinking it may be a bad batch, as Apple claims they did x amount of thousands of tests, and real world tests. Surely they would've caught this as it's always bending in the same area.
Belt clip or haven't you heard of one before. Goodness.![]()

I'm not seeing it.
You'd like to think so. But obviously something has gone wrong somewhere. If it was one specific area all bought from the same shop that would be a different issue. But it's from all over the world.
But you know. Wrap it in bubble wrap and buy a special briefcase with foam in with just a cut out for your phone. If you don't do that then when your phone bends from, erm, being in your pocket then it's 100% your fault because Apple can never do anything wrong ever. And could never ever possibly have made a mistake or have quality control issues ever. Because apple are completely perfect.
At a push wear it on a belt clip like we're in 1996 but whatever you do don't lean over.
Unless the OP is referring to other forums that he made fun of I don't see anything in his post history since before the iPhone 6 came out of him making fun of anybody in terms of Bendgate. Hmm.
and this is why thinner is not better
well will this company learn?
Unfortunately, the weak point on most of the cases out there are near the volume rockers. The easiest spot to bend on the Apple leather case is also the weakest point of the phone. The case is poorly designed. The iphone 5 leather case is much stronger near the volume rocker. I also had the Spigen Thin fit and Incipio Dual Pro, and both have their weakest spot near the volume rockers. Quite easy to bend. Sent those back. Finally got my Spigen thin armor today, and appears to be much tougher to bend near those volume rockers, so am keeping that case for my 6 Plus.
It very well could be a bad batch, or it could be a design defect present in all phones. We just don't know, and anybody claiming to know is lying.

It's not a phone. It's a small tablet. It doesn't belong in your pocket. It belongs in your purse.
