I will probably buy white, as i liked the white of my white macbook and used it for 3+years

I'm torn between what colour to choose. I have a white iPhone 4S and I love it! Though I don't think the white looks as good as the black on an iPad I don't know if I would like having them not matching each other!

Though I think the white ipad looks too white, if you know what I mean.

I'll probably do what I did with my phone and decide on the day.

Gave my smart cover away....Didn't like the potential for damage from the magnets. Have a leather Griffin case / stand (Black) Would buy another one for the 3 if it's a different form factor.

What damage do you think the magnets will do?

My first apple product was a black iPod. I then had a black 3, 3GS, and 4, iPad, ipad2.

My first white apple product was the 4S and I LOVE it. That said, I will only get a black iPad, mainly bc it looks better IMO when viewing videos.

Since you already have iPhone4s in white then go for white iPad if you don't mind the video viewing experience others have mentioned with the white.

Also, it's kinda nice have coordinating Mac gadgets if that matters to you. :)

I have a white iPad 2. I'm not going to be upgrading to the iPad 3 mainly because I don't have the money, need to save up for college and a new car because mine is slowly dieing :(. Anyway, the next iPad I get, which will probably be the iPad 4, will be in black. I love my white iPad, but I think black would be nice for a change. I am going to get the next iPhone, and that will most definitely be in white.

I think the looks of the iPad in white is pretty cool, but I like the iPhone in white less.

Black again for me.

I got two friends who are tired of their white iPad/iPhones and wish they had picked black.

Same here. Personally, I feel that the black is also more professional in the work place. The white is more of eye candy and never did receive any pleasing comments by it (exchanged for black).

I had a white that I sold and I think I'm going for black this time. The issue I have is that the glass to aluminum border it not precise enough and my past white one had uneven hairline gaps between them. You really dont notice them on the black at all, but you can on the white.
