One easy way to prove it to your parents is take them to a local professional copy shop...

FedEx Kinkos is the largest retail copy shop and they no longer have any Macs whatsoever. (at least not where I live)

Macs are the majority in the design/print field, but that doesn't mean they're the only thing out there. 😱
