How does the 5c compare to the 4s? Is the 5c better? I mean both are old technology right? So then why do so many people have these?
I think the A7 will go largely unnoticed. I don't notice any advancements or any speed.
The 4s remains more popular than the 5c. Yet it's the bottom tier Apple phone.
The 4s and 5c doesn't have the A7. Which, by the way, you don't really notice any advancements or speed.
It's selling better because it's free on contract.
I certainly notice a difference in speed between the 4s and the 5/5c. And the same goes for the 5/5c vs the 5s, there is a noticeable difference in speed.
I generally only notice speed enhancements (anymore) in subsequent iOS releases. That said, there are certain GUI elements missing in iOS7 for the iPhone 5, presumably to make transitions smoother. I would think that is testament to the differences in chips.
I'm guessing that just because there is the addition of a new chip that doesn't mean that we will really see any type of big improvement. I'm not exactly sure what the A7 really enables..
I mean I saw a huge boost from the 4s to the 5.
With what app? I purchased the most powerful apps on the store. You know, Anomoly 2. It runs the exact same as on the 5c. So where's the real difference?
So do you think the 4s will be gone by next year? The 4s seems to be sticking around much longer than any other iPhone. It even lasted longer than the iPhone 5.
I sure hope so!So do you think the 4s will be gone by next year? The 4s seems to be sticking around much longer than any other iPhone. It even lasted longer than the iPhone 5.

I've seen them writing to the heavens about the benchmarks on the 5s.
But having bought the 5c and then switching to the 5s, I can tell you that there is not a perceivable difference in the speed of the phones.
Even the 5s and 5c take the same amount of time to start up so.
Should there be? Will the 5s load a webpage faster because it has a faster 64bit processor? But having bought the 5c and then switching to the 5s, I can tell you that there is not a perceivable difference in the speed of the phones.
The A7 is a faster processor than the A6. Additionally, the GPU in the 5S is more advanced than the 5/5C. I can notice a difference between the two, outside of benchmarks.
Should there be? Will the 5s load a webpage faster because it has a faster 64bit processor?
How about Facebook or Twitter? Does a millisecond in speed difference matter?
They are both good phones that cater to different customers.
My iPhone 5 is considerably faster than my iPhone 3GS. But both open a webpage on WiFi at the same approximate speed.
But say you crank up Anomaly 2 on the 5c and 5s. They play the same.
I was hoping to see advancements where it counts.

When I ran this app. This was my personal test. The wait time on the 5c and 5s are nearly identical.
I thought that if there was any big speed boost so would notice it here.
Infinity blade 3 has iPhone 5s specific graphics enhancements that take advantage of the faster GPU. I've never really been into that game, but I did play the first one on my iPad.
What GUI elements are missing in the iphone 5? 😕
