I need help seeing the difference between iPhones

It does? And what difference would that be?

That's not something I noticed. Did anyone notice this?

I think that either you saw an iPhone 5 with iOS 7.1 or a 5S with 7.1. iOS 7.1 changes the animations, making them faster.
