The middle desktop is missing from the equation. A machine for the family that offers gaming specs for that family. Maybe with Nvidia's ARM takeover we will see more compliance from Apple on gaming. They will have to be willing to accept the offering or at least make deals for better titles for the App Store's arcade section. But, that still requires those software makers to change code for their SOC.
I'm rambling because this is a long going conversation in just about every forum you can imagine. Maybe we should send some hair coloring to the Apple executive staff and wait it out.
