I find white bezels distracting. It's why I returned the Kindle 2.0 and bought a Sony Reader. Of course Amazon got smart and changed the bezel to gray. Too late for me, but great for those later adopters.

Looks like I'm just going to stick with the white, then just use the money that I sell the black one for to go towards the iPad 3. By that time, I can decide if I want to switch colours.

Oh and as for my work... Well I think for sake of debate I should withhold it's name. But it's a non-profit organization.

I'm in a similar situation but I am not even considering giving up a single device...

Black. It looks seamless, especially when viewing video. The white is distracting. So keep the black.

I would suggest returning the white one as you probably will not use both of them. As per the resale value, I feel white will have more but many wouldn't buy as it is the same product. As per me, I have 1 iPad 1, 2 iPad 2's, 3 iPhone 4's, 2 MacBook Pro's, and their respective accessories between me and my wife (I happen to use all of them and yes I feel quite stupid while doing so as I can merge everything into one easily). My experience tells me that you should return the white and keep the black, assuming your company wouldn't ask for it back if you happen to leave them or anything like such.

to me, i've always felt the white devices from apple always looked better. white matches a lot better with every other color, so as far as accessories go, best to go with white.

HOWEVER, i get bothered by the white outline when i'm trying to watch a movie. the way the guy at Apple explained it, you're very aware of the white outline, whereas with the black, you don't really think about it.

My suggestion. go with the black, and take care of it.

Sell the black since it isn't opened and bring the white one back to an Apple store and have them replace it for the light bleeding issue. I bought mine on release day and exchanged it in July and don't have a single light bleeding issue with the new one.

I have two, an iPad 1 i bought on release day and an iPad 2 I also bought on release day. Keep them both or sell one, only you can decide what to do.

I have found it handy to have multiple iPads. It reduces running around the house looking for an iPad for reading or emailing. I had originally intended to sell the old one when the new one came out.
