Interesting. I don’t think I’ll ever want my HomePod to read my texts or make a call!

Shows how different all our needs and wants are!! :)

For me, it’s about music in the kitchen.
At the moment, I plug my iPhone into a small x-mini speaker, and play Apple Music playlists.
I’ve been looking at Bluetooth speakers for ages, and more recently the google, amazon and and sonos speakers.
But with the HomePod release, I’ve taken a punt, and hoping for a speaker of good quality and ease of use, that seemelessly integrates into Apple Music and keeps my kitchen full of tunes...!

I don’t mind about smart capabilities, I don’t use Siri more than set a timer, turn on the lights or skip track. To me is more important to sound great and Hey Siri to be reliable which is it.

I have only opened 1 of the 2 I ordered and I think I will be returning tomorrow.

Biggest issue is lack of Tune In Support (cant believe I missed this before ordering).
Im not a huge Siri hater but she is noticeably worse on the HomePod to the point my Series 0 Watch does a better job.
Sound quality is very good and I am liking the Home Automation but I don't I cannot overlook the other issues.
