I really regret not getting a Gold 5s

Keep it for now; we're only months away from a new model/models.
In the mean time, alleviate the boredom you are having with your current iPhone by making room for more "us" time between you and your iPhone.
Special "date nights" between the two of you, more cuddling, maybe talk to Siri more.
Stuff like that.

I ended up ordering from Apple because of the lack of gold at the Verizon stores- wasn't compromising since gold is my favorite color - I think a black face gold combo would be perfect

I wanted the gold one, but I didn't feel like waiting two weeks for one, so I bought a white and a grey one.

I've gotten over it.

I'll just be upgrading in a few months soon anyways.

This is why the gold will be selling for more on the secondary market, people not wanting to wait so they got another instead since less gold were available on the market. Imagine how many other color iPhones were sold in those two weeks!

I've got to tell you... I did get the Space Gray and I love the color. It's just a perfect mix.

That said the gold is nice if you like that type of color. A guy at my work has a gold one and I like it, but it's not for me...

Really wish I had gotten Gold, as it would be something new and different.

If your regret is just based on those superficial reasons just put a nice new case on it and solve both problems.

I love the gold, I waited for like 3 weeks when I ordered it via Apple Online back in Sept/Oct. Months later, I still love it; it's not gaudy at all, it's very subtle. I've had every single iPhone that's been released and always got it in black. So, my upgrade from the 5 to 5s was definitely significant for me.

GOLD IS BEST, BEST BEST BEST!!!

I got a Factory Unlocked Gold IP5s today, I personally wanted a silver one but ... my friend had to get Gold after watching that paraody last Nov. She sold it to me after the biggest ordeal of a replacement swap I've went through for a defective battery, at least it's new and the price I couldn't pass at all.

Originally I wanted to pass on the IP5s, but reading all the rumours of the larger IP6 is something I don't want and I enjoy the current 4" display. Eventually I'll need the last model of this form factor, the IP5 won't be fast enough over time. If the IP6 stays with the 4" display, then I can sell this one easier then my IP5 when the time comes.

But I feel the space grey is an amazing color....!! If I had not bought black and slate iphone 5 last year, then I would had got the space grey color for sure.

I wanted a change in look...and between good and silver, I find gold better.

But space grey is equally good too.
