Petting your phone? Seriously? Seek help.

That's got to be the weirdest thing I've bet read on here.

Is this thread for real ?

----------

Agreed. It's hard to compare the new iPhones' dual-core 1.4 Ghz processors against quad-core 2.5 Ghz cpus. :)

.... the dual core 1.4 GHz is faster in most of the case.
Cpu architecture is not limited to number of cores and frequency.

really?

what the bloody hell are you talking about? the bands dont protrude, and theres no gap for crap to accumulate around them.

maybe it is just the display phones or my friends fones' then because it isn't sanded completely smooth and flush, I can feel tiny off sets, gaps, tiny and annoying to feel that.

i like a naked phone to adore and admire, to have that (complete) amazing feeling and usability / functionality - it is like they spend so much time on the screen design - they did not follow through with the same rigour for the antenna bands, perhaps they should make them darker not lighter :( they really stick out too much that they are lighter than the chassis...

Too darn bad for those despicable bands because I feel up the screen and how it curves smooth around the edges to the back, and then suddenly the bands stop my fluid movement while petting the phone, the sudden change in texture and how the bands protrude out, and the tiny hairline gap around the bands (ewww) gunk gets in there so easily - really - a NO GO for me. Really wanted it to work out but - meh...

Quite honestly, I don't even pay attention to those bands. I don't even notice them. I too focused on what I'm doing on the screen.

I also bought an Apple leather case. Perhaps, this prevents me from focusing on something that I would have ever noticed.

Petting phones does sound weird, but hugging your Macs is acceptable, right?

Nonsense.

Please Apple make and force 1gb ram versions for fanboys exclusively from next year out. That will shut them up.

Until the day Apple does something, its all No No ridiculous nonsense don't-need. Remember Samsung and the phablet? Same fanboys defending 1gb ram to death until they go 2gb and forget everything else which happened. Just like big screens vs 4inch

Best thing about this forum is Apple's mktg propaganda reaching its epiphany on these people.

No one here would be sad about a 2 Gb iPhone.
But that's quite different from saying the actual 1 Gb configuration is unusable.

If something about this forum is the totally lack of Apple propaganda. On the contrary is full of Android huggers trying to down play Apple at every post.
Quite a fair battle field.

I really wanna Love the iPhone 6 Plus

I can't say I've noticed any gaps in the bands, perhaps my hands aren't as tactile. In the contrary this is the first iPhone I had to put in a case because it felt too slippery to me.

Ps. Why don't the memory boys for once just shut up. You've made you point in so many threads, it won't magically give us more than 1GB. If you don't like it, get something else in the mean time. Spoiling every thread with the moaning and nonsense is not going to make any bit of difference. Grrrr

Interesting story.
Iphones sell like hotcake. ;)

Personally, I find the IP6+ so slippery it needs a case, so I don't even feel the bands - problem solved.

This. First thing I got was a case cause it was very slippery and due to the camera protruding.

You're building a straw man. Nobody said they want the iPhone restricted to 1GB.

People are (or at least I am) saying that *in spite of" the lack of RAM, the iPhone performs as well as any flagship phone *today*. And it isn't just posters on this site. Watch or read any independent phone review/comparison and they will say the exact same thing.

Fair enough. I hope you find another phone that meets all your aesthetic demands. People shouldn't settle for a product if there are elements that upset them.

I don't really care about the bands personally. It just looks like a feature of the casing to me. I have mine hidden inside a Spigen Slim Armor case now too so I probably won't see the exterior of the back until I sell it in 18 months time! lol. I can't fault the way the phone works and am loving the screen on my 6. :)

since 95% of the world puts a case on their phone , including me, its a non issue. I have the Aduro Holster for extra grippyness

Thanks!

Well... That is why I'm sticking to my reliable 4S still zippy and stable, gorgeous, compact and durable :D

Love you all, especially the ones with the greatest sense of humor ^_^
