I've got a dead pixel on my 3GS, I was so disappointed when I found it, I wasn't even looking for dead pixels, just wanted to clean a dust speck off the screen that would not move.

What calmes me down is that, I'm going to change the iPhone in about a year anyway, it's not like I'll have it forever to worry about a pixel.

But yea, with me it's like a tradition, I MUST have a dead pixel with every device I buy that has an LCD screen... sign.

My iPhone 4 has a dead pixel, it is visible but its very small. Mine is located around the centre of the screen and its dark red in colour. Its on visible when you hold the phone extremely close to your face and the background is white. When using it at normal distance it is impossible to see.

I was considering trying to get a replacement but I thought I'd just leave it, I was told Apple don't replace them for only one dead pixel and I might get one with more of them.

I swapped 2 iPhone 3G's before I found one without a dead pixel, but I have to admit looking for them!

They are pretty small on the 3G, so they will be really hard to spot on the iPhone 4. I think I will probably end up looking for them anyway, even though I know I shouldn't! With 4 times the pixels, I'm much more likely to find them!!!

I think your math is a little off here . 4 times the pixels means you're LESS likely to find them.

what should i do about mine? mine has like 6 or more xD

but i think its only some dust, ill buy another screen protector later so ill be able to see if its only a dust
