sorry, misread as america, not Australia, aussie beer rocks, it's like nectar of the gods compared to the crap thats is labeled as fosters here.

i've pretty much given up on 99% of commercial beers, the only things i can stand are guinness and a few bitters, home brewing has ruined my taste in alcahol, now i've tasted what it should be like everything elce tastes like crap, atm i'm brewing 25l of cider, then i'm freeze distilling half of it, it's going to kick ass.

Who the hell drinks light beer? If I'm drinking beer I want all the alcohol.

I thought light beer had the alcohol but not the non-alcohol calorie content? Not that it isn't way off topic... I never used to like it, but I've tried a handful of light beers I consider quite passable. And then there's the thing that I find really funny...that Guinness is relatively on the lower end of non-light beers in terms of calories... :D

To answer the thread starter's question: Yes

Have you guys stopped to think for a second and asked yourselves what the most expensive item is imported from China? It's the Apple computer. Have you ever noticed that most every Chinese produced product that competes with the American produced version is 50% less in dollars if not more?

How much does each MacBook cost Apple to produce at their cost? I believe it is probably at least 300% less than the retail price. Having said that, I would gladly pay $3000 for a zero defect 15" MacBook Pro made in USA. But I believe the same computer made in China should cost $500 or less, being that it is built with extremely cheap labor. :)

Zero defect? That's not possible. The perfect laptop? I'm some people would pay that amount for a laptop that has ZERO faults...but that's just not possible! The world would explode!

the thing is they do all kinds of wierd things to it to make a light version of a beer which end up makeing it suck, it's not that i want more calories, i just want beer that does not taste like piss.

also beer is highly variable, the guinness you drink will be different to the guinness we get over here ect, beers are licensed.

oh and go newky brown

In the US, yes, light beer is low-calorie. In Australia, light beer is about half the alcohol content but that same number of calories - that's why anyone here who drinks light beer is softer than the audience of a Margaret Thatcher pole dancing lesson. I think we have two "lite" beers here and they both taste like they were passed by an anaemic cat.

So:

Beer = 5% - 8% alcohol (can be higher depending on type)
Light Beer = 2.5% - 3.5% alcohol + infinite soft c*ck status.

At least we make cars! :p :D
Not one Japanese car is manufacured in Japan... all are done here.
It's really a debate about the global economy and whether you believe in it. I do, but only to the extent that it's a level field, which it is not. Apple cannot compete with buck-an-hour workers, period.

Oh, and how's the quality of their stuff? Is it very good? They make themselves out to sound as though they make the best cotton t-shirts in the universe, when it could just be like any regular cotton, slightly stretchy t-shirt.
The quality is nice. A way to see some in person if there are not AA retail stores near you, is to check out a concert. :p A lot of concert tees are printed on AA shirts.

Some of my oldest tees and the ones that get washed the most are AA and they haven't changed shapes or colors. Meaning, they haven't warped, nor have they faded.

And as far as I'm concerned, they may be one of my favorite line of clothing in the world (haven't been to the rest of the universe) because 1) they're sweat-shop free, 2) they have quality goods, 3) they're sweat-shop free, 4)amazing bold colors, and 5) they're sweat-shop free.

Seriously though, try to check them out in person, or just take a dive and order. Some shirts are really really sheer. Some are softer than others.
