I think FedEx "lost" my iPhone

I had to log in just to post about this. I am having the same exact issue with Fedex (supposed to deliver the 7th, then the 8th, now the 11th) and both first times the tracking page said the delivery was exempted and that no one was home. No one?! First time my parents were home, and the second time I was home. And no one came to the door or left a slip! I am seriously starting to get annoyed.

Does any one have advice for this? Should I call Fedex and ask them to trace the package for me?

I wasn't so lucky, doh!

FedEx lost the package.

Apple instantly refunded my money. I'm calling the local AT&T stores right now to check for 4gb models in stock, otherwise I'll just re-place my order for another 4gb clearance iPhone with Apple.

Bummer.

You should be able to go pick it up at the local distribuion center if your close enough. There should be a checkbox on the delivery ticket.

That is what I do, I live at an odd address so I always have to go in and pick up the package. My last package got here safe and sound. I would honestly rather have it delivered to a local Fed-Ex location, but I don't live too far away from Fed-Ex Home Delivery (I worked down the street at Fed Ex Ground) and pick it up myself, so I'm not sitting waiting all day and getting paranoid at the diesel engine driving by every five minutes...
