If they are using Fedex overnight: regular overnight delivers by noon (expedited by 10 am). Unless Apple has a special shipping case that gives them all day to deliver.
Dude, this is awesome
LOLOLOL
The guy winked and said, Ill see what I can do..
Or you could just have it held at the FedEx station instead of it being delivered. Once you have the tracking number, call the 800 FedEx number and tell them you want it held (Hold At Location). You will be able to pick it up from there as soon as they open which is typically 8-9am. Trust me on this, I used to work for FedEx.
Well this we be my first iphone and well I had a package delivered by FedEx on the 15th and thought I could see what I could do to be the first delivery. So as he is making me sign for package I told him I have a deal for him. If he would bring me my package on the 24th first I would kick back with 50 bucks and a 12 pack of beer. The guy winked and said, Ill see what I can do.. Looking back at it I must be desperate as hell to get my hands on it. We shall see what happens LOL
Why would you bribe him if the iPhone is coming on the 24
I'm actually thinking of doing this!
I wasnt sure if they would allow me to do it though.
Sure you can. People do it all the time, especially ones from out of town who are waiting to catch a plane. Plus, it's one more stop off the drivers' route.
I'm a guy coming from a Windows Mobile 6.5 phone.. badddddd
Well, that rules out one option.![]()

Definitely no hate on my part! It's 2010, no hating!
Good point! The FedEx guy might be female....
Not referring to that part.be nice! i'm about to ditch winmo very soon too.
Snort! Good point.thats what i was thinking. you never know. the fedex man may swing both ways.![]()
Roger that!Not necessarily!
Just called the UPS store a couple miles from me and they said it wont be delivered from them, it will come from the "hub" at the airport.
Shucks, looks like I can't pick it up.
Because UPS isn't delivering them, FedEx is. And UPS brand store (old Mail Box Etc. stores) don't deliver anything they only package shipments and sell supplies.
You would have to pick it up directly from the FedEx station that the routes come out of, not FedEx Kinkos either.
Before calling UPS I called FedEX and they told me they don't do deliveries and to call UPS.
And I don't think I've ever seen a FedEX truck come to my house, only the big brown UPS truck.
If you can go to fedex.com and enter zipcode "96707" and tell me which FedEX location I should be calling please.
lolololololol this is indeed awesome. OP - let us know how this works out for you. I may have a new strategy for the iPhone 5 if this works in your favor!![]()
While this is kind of hilarious, do you really think it would make a difference getting it a few hours earlier? I mean you're already waiting a week, whats a couple more hours? Unless you're trying to get in before the activation servers get clogged up...
lol in before network activation collapse... I have a feeling people are going to be waiting 3x longer than expected due to the overwhelming activation server cluster**** on launch day. MARK MY WORDS!

How about you enjoy the iPhone 4 first? My God...
Better hope he doesn't turn around and bring your last. Or "forget" to bring it.
