sunapple,

You do realize that everything you wrote in your post #7 about phones slowing down over time will hold true for your iPhone 7 when you get it?

According to our host, it may have dual camera lens.

6 plus was a fantastic phone albeit with app reloads. That said 6s plus is in a league of its own & everything just works faster ; speedy gonzales personified:).

The 6S Plus is much faster than the 6 Plus. I've owned both. If I can't get the iphone 7 subsidized (which would cost me nothing after selling the 6S+) I have no reservations about holding onto the 6S Plus for 2+ years.

Yeah people get too caught up with the phones design and name.

It's a different phone. The 6+ was part of apples 8th generation iPhones and the 6s+ is part of the 9th generation iPhones.

This latest gen brought some key upgrades over the previous one, notably the much faster processor and the extra ram which has resulted with a fresh, more enjoyable user experience

I found the normal 6s to be a significant upgrade over the 6 in some key areas.
