I upgraded to iOS 5 and now my Google Maps app is in CHINESE!

Not 100%
For sure it's better with English now but it's still not 100% if I compare with my iPad which is still running 4.3.5, if you drop a pin the address is still all Chinese characters also I noticed if I go to another part of the world say the UK in my case and drop a pin no address and no street view, my iPad give me both. It still needs some work to get back to where it should be. Interestingly, my wife's Chinese iPhone which is also running IOS 5 now has the same English and Chinese map as my non Chinese phone, so maybe this will cause Apple some problems with the government

Landed back in Shanghai and swapped my Hong Kong SIM card to my China one and google map is in English/Pin Yin!
