color / no color....

hi guys

1st of all for those like me who actually like color & think color is a great way to identify stuff ( even at a glance... ) there is a solution to this grey ********, i have tried it & it works, it's here:

2nd - it totally amazes me that those who like the grey icons have such a hard time understanding there are people who don't !?!? WTF ??? where is the memo ordering that now we ALL have to like/want the same things ?

personally i'm ALL for choice :

you want them grey ? knock yourself out....

i want them colored ? i'll go for it & i promise NOT to give a hoot how you set up yours - yup, that sounds MUCH MORE like it !
i mean isn't that part of of the pleasure of being adults ? choosing/deciding ? :) those who disagree are most welcome NOT to use them pesky choices....

the funniest thing is that in Snow Leopard we did have that choice & it was dead easy to implement
even funnier is the fact that Apple went to GREAT lengths to actually stop users from customizing their icons/colors - are they going to start giving their computers away ? because until they do, if you don't mind - hope you don't 'cause i'll still do it anyway.. - i'll reserve the right to decide which wallpaper, what icon, what color, what size font, etc, ad nauseam.....may i ?

funnier still - not to call it ridiculous.. - is that while supposedly following a logic of ''getting distracting stuff out of the way'' ( as in color/custom icons.. ) then they went ahead & made AddressBook & iCal look more realistic, even if in a slightly childish kind of way, by adding color all over it, etc....

all in all VERY logical

& last but NOT least, do us all a favor - do send them lots & lots of feedback :

http://www.apple.com/feedback/ they do read it & if enough is sent they WILL change it around
