I'd roll the credits over the ending shot, starting around 2:27 or so after the guy takes his wallet back and exits the frame.

Well where ever you choose to fade (if you do), get rid of the guy at 2:55 that walks into frame, looks at the camera and then stops and backs out of frame, because he knows he shouldn't be in the shot.

Tnx for the replies, they're really helpful. As for the chase itself i realised i quite forgot to shoot more close shots which i could use as insert.

I'm planning on shooting some additional shots but the weather here isnt very cooperative so that will be a longterm plan.

I've always found the music in the beginning of the song very "batmanesque" so i find it funny to hear it's actually from the movie. The song is called Apocalypse-Beat it down by The Autobots/Screwface. I came across it on a mixcd by Freestylers.

Good stuff. Overall the film does a nice film "feel and look" to it.

About the music, I was just pointing out, that since it sounds like Batman (regardless if it is Batman or not), it still takes away from the film.

For example, I would have thought it was a Batman remix song, but it still makes it Batman, thats all.

Good stuff either way!:D

I've been shooting bits and pieces with two friends on and off for over a year now - collectively, we're now known as Meme & Zeke.

First up, a couple of teaser trailers for a film we started to shoot over the summer, having begun preproduction about 9-10 months previously. Sadly, the cast and crew are all in still in full-time education, and with most of us having exams this year, I don't know if we'll ever complete it.

This is a semi-serious, bad-Australian-accent version of The Office we shot last year for English coursework. The plot (lacking though it may seem) was badly adapted from an episode of the American The Office, and pretty much all the dialogue was improvised by the actors - and therefore was different every take, which made it a hellish thing to edit.

On top of that, there were no perfect dialogue takes, and it was shot over a week at times between 9am and half 5 at night, so the continuty is bloody apalling. Enjoy! ;)

All three were edited on a Core Duo iMac running Final Cut Pro, and shot on Mini-DV with a Sony Handycam.

Comments and criticism are much appreciated :)

I am a sophomore media production major in college and I had to make a music video for my class. I got a very good grade and am looking to see what you guys thought. The song is a little different, but keep an open mind!
I compressed it for youtube the best I could. Let me know what you all think!

Good stuff, I like the idea very much.
It's definately a different approach on things. Was this a project for making a music video or something else?

nope, the assignment was just make a music video. We got to choose any song we wanted and I went with "Elephant Bones". I actually emailed the band on Myspace and the liked it. Pretty cool...
