I have to admit that I love my Android phones (but before that I was a die hard Apple girl), Samsung makes great hardware touchwiz aside for those that hate it. So when Apple finally announced the 5.5" phone (I have been leaning 99% towards the new Note 4) I thought hmmm maybe.... just maybe! Long story made shorter, I went into a store to have a look and yes the hardware is beautiful no doubt about that, but I looked at those rows of icons, swiped them to the left and right, looked at the new notification menu how they have it hidden on a button to the top right of the 6+ and went "Blah". Basically for me there was nothing NEW to see for apple. Nothing that said wow this is really new and neat. Nothing that I wasn't already doing with my S4 or better. I even liked the screen on the Note 3 better when i walked over to look at it. So wierd for me. I think what also threw me off was the 1GB ram. I know the phone works fast NOW but remember what happened with the first gen iPad. Apple never disallowed the iOS7 for it and it broke many people's iPads because the device didn't have enough ram to cover the new OS and it's apps. I really feel that if Apple had bumped their Ram to 2GB at the very least it would have insured at least 4 years of OS updates on the device. Unless devs get super sly with ram requirements for their apps, this will likely make the phone redundant in 2 years..... I don't want to spend that kind of money on that kind of risk. So, Note 4 for me!
