Crap I hate to be one of these guys, but i used well known site that gives you access to beta profiles to install watch os6. I did the installation process not thinking about updating ios needed to be updated first.

Now my watch is unpaired and wont be paired with an iphone running ios 12 and on top of it i’m learning that I wont be able to install ios 13 because I dont have a mac (****!) and xcode. My watch is useless and I dont have iOS.

I know it was a stupid move and I should have waited, we can skip the reprimands please.

I need help!

Same. I have a Mac but not a dev account. Assuming I need that to download Xcode and the new beta?

If you have a Mac and are on Mojave and download the Xcode 11 beta and can find the he IPSW file you may be able to update your phone to iOS 13

Go to an apple store, they can downgrade.

I did it once with another watch os

Did the same thing. Was able to get ios13 on an old 6s but cannot figure out how to delete the profile. It’s not in the watch app and the profiles setting within the watch is empty

So if you were to go legit and pay the $99, you can get iOS 13 and get out of this mess, right? Even on a PC?

Have a dev account and updated my Watch without thinking about the need for iOS 13 (or realizing it initially). Was in the same boat but found using iTunes to install iOS 13 via the ipsw file worked great. I did it on my iMac but I don't see why it wouldn't work on a PC using iTunes. The ipsw for your model iPhone is likely already shared "out there". I won't share mine nor point you out to where to find them, but they were pretty easy to Google for.

The profile is already gone. When you pair the watch to a new phone it wipes that watch and that wipe includes any profiles.

Not having the profile won’t do any good, though, because you can’t downgrade the watch. Now that it’s on WatchOS 6 it’s going to stay on WatchOS 6 forever (unless you take it in to an Apple store or send it to Apple)

Unless you plan to have apple downgrade it you should actually put the profile back on it at this point because without the profile it won’t get beta 2 when that’s available.

I updated watchOS 1st. Was okay, everything working but no connection.
Then I update iOS 13 and now my watch is brick... only show watch faces, can't go to apps, can't go to settings, can't even factory reset it. Tried to pair again with iPhone - worked, but again same no response after pairing. AW app on iPhone also says all time I am not connected to AW. Idk what to do now ;/

Borrow a friends Mac. Otherwise the beta profile will stay forever. It will not 'automatically' switch to non-beta when your iPhone updates to iOS13 ( but, you should be able to at least repair at that point ).

If you have a Mac you can either ... install the XCode beta, download a copy of the ipsw file from some dodgy website, then use iTunes to upgrade your phone. Or upgrade your Mac to Catalina then download a copy ... etc.

If you don't have a Mac or don't want to do the above, you'll need to have your watch restored to the earlier OS by going to an Apple store.

Or wait until the iOS13 public beta is available OTA.

You’ll need a Mac to get on 13 for now. I was able to do it. I had someone add me to their Dev account, but I don’t think you actually need to be on one. If you look hard enough you can get the Xcode 11 beta and iOS 13 IPSW files.

I did the exact same thing, and I'm having the same issue as you are. Let me know if you find a solution to it...

Well from everything I'm reading, it's Mac only at this point. Maybe that will change. So for now I'm stuck with my series 3. A little annoying, but my punishment for getting hasty, I suppose.

Xcode 11 beta if your still on macOS Mojave... I'm on the beta channel for macOS, so I received the beta for Catalina as soon as it was released. Getting the watchOS beta wasn't hard to find, but had to do some digging to find iOS 13 beta.

You don't have a spare friend that will allow you to download Xcode 11 beta, it's a free download to those who have an AppleID... because I can direct you to where you can get iOS 13 beta file.

Please direct me there. I should have a friend's mac later today. Most links I have found are dead.

Won’t help. You need an activated UDID or you wont be able to verify the update and it’ll just brick your phone...

If you wanna risk it, you can do it on Mojave just search for the new Xcode PKGs for MobileDevices and reboot the Mac BEFORE you try to even search for the ios 13 IPSW Files.

To be honest, you should just wait for the Public Beta and maybe it’ll sync then with your watch. Apple by know learned all our “tricks” (hoooow I wonder??) and this way they just make sure actual paid and registered developers can use this feed.

I didn’t need an activated UDID... I just restored from the given iOS 13 IPSW. And it restored just fine. I was even able to backup from a previous backup.

I normally don’t recommend restoring from backup. It’s just I didn’t feel like going through my apps and setting up my iPhone.
