SNIP .She is excited to see such a well balanced person, and she is happy to see a male entering the field.
I always hate the phrase "drugs and alcohol." Alcohol is a drug, and it is much more dangerous than some other, illegal drugs.

Much like anything, it's only as dangerous as you make it. Respect and moderation are key, as with all things in life. One could consider fatty foods to be a 'drug' considering the positively addictive effect they have on serotonin and the negative health effects they can have on an individual (however I dually note I can't over eat and crash my car and get arrested for driving under the influence of a food baby).
Of course! I have nothing against the responsible consumption of alcohol; I do it all the time. I just don't like the false dichotomy established with the phrase "drugs and alcohol." It is misleading.
Regarding fatty foods, you are spot on. See Johnson and Kenny (2010) Dopamine D2 receptors in addiction-like reward dysfunction and compulsive eating in obese rats, Nature Neuroscience 13, 635 - 641. Considering Humans are wired for fats, sugars, and salts---things that occur in small proportion naturally---one could conceivably become addicted quite easily given their prevalence in modern processed foods (or perhaps I should say food like stuffs).
