1. They integrate IChat
2. They add Microsoft Exchange compatibility that auto updates calendar, email, etc. I don't want to have to sync it, if i forget to sync it and I add a calendar date on my computer it doesn't go on my Iphone....BULLSH*T
3. If the test dummies that buy it right away determine the keyboard is workable. I am killer at the double thumb typing method and rely on fast emailing and messaging for my business.
4. They included unlimited SMS. I think it is BULLSH*T they act like the SMS feature is so amazing and give you 200.
I am a huge Apple fan but maybe me and all of my apple fanatic friends are way off base from the general population?? Everyone I know is waiting a while to buy it to see if they get their sh*t together.
quit bitchin d00d.
- oh ya, and the i in iPhone and iChat isn't capitalized. I see you attempted.....but failed.
1. There's a 3rd party app out there for iChat.
2. MS Exchange has pretty much been confirmed.
3. Others (Walt Mossberg) were typing fast after 5 days.
4. For $10 more a month you can get 1,500 messages. $20 for unlimited.
- ichat 3rd party app is over safari = LAME. It is an apple program it shoudl be such on the hottest communication device to hit the market. Every other device has AIM + the others, and IPhone should naturally have IChat, but I think they are trying to rip off the customer with the slow, unreliable, SMS.
- i do see some exchange info popping up. if that is true it will change many minds about buying IPhone
- SMS is such old technology and little information, it should be unlimited and included in the package. Cingular or ATT is just cashing in. It is like the 5 cents it costs in coke syrup at a fast food joint and they sell it for $1.50.
- I hope walt story is true. I am doubting a bit but will give the story the benefit of the doubt.
If only monkeys could double thumb type so well.
If Verizon offers a family data plan. I don't want separate data plans on different devices.
Thanks for bumping a 5 year old thread lol
