Interesting. You do have a period key, I thought maybe your keyboard only had a comma button.

Anyways, I don't think it would be beneficial. For myself I could care less if snow or rain is coming and I see it in maps. Usually I have an idea by looking at the weather. Won't be of any benefit.

some not agree if snow or rain will block traffic setallite picture but that no true

maps has 3 kind

- standard
-hydrid
-setallite

if snow or rain animation showing cannot see then change to standard , still work that way

But why should we? If snow is falling from the sky then you know it is snowing :D .

How would it know what lane you are in?

No, I've seen this feature on some GPS apps. Navigon is one of them. It doesn't know exactly what lane your in, but it does show what lanes go where. For example, if I were heading west and came up to a freeway interchange in a part of town where I haven't been before it would be helpful to know what lanes go where. Does the number four lane continue straight? Does it become lane one for an exit?

Plus, its better so your not having to play games to get over three lanes of traffic in LA in half a mile. Good luck doing that!

I definitely agree about showing the lane configurations and letting you know which one you need ahead of time, but the part about telling you that you are in the wrong lane, not really sure that's doable with just a phone.

Yeah, that I don't think so. GPS isn't that precise yet.

I can see what you mean by it possibly being useful. I would rather have it as an option for the voice turn by turn directions...Something like every once in a while Siri could say (if it were snowing or really cold outside): "It is very cold out. Watch for ice."

But idk...

Are you under the impression that satellite images are real time? Some of them are way outdated.

First thing, the satellite images are static, they are old pictures taken from satellite and can never be live so unless the satellite has taken a picture when it was raining , then u might see rain whenever u go on that place but that's unlikely..
We'll u have a good idea.. They can't show the whole area coverd in snow or rain but surly they can have an icon somewhere placed saying it's this this weather condition .. And then if we ask for driving Or walking directions, it can use the internet for it and help us saying "you may not be able to drive or walk there because the are is flooded/covered with snow" etc etc.. Good thought... But needs a lot of integration of weather, internet, maps, and what not.. Difficult but not impossible!
