My iPad is too small to install too many programs. I wonder if IPAD can use OTG U disk?
 
You'd need a drive with Lightning connector. I think SanDisk makes some (iXpand?). Can't use them for apps though.
 
IXPand with File Browser (Business) will allow you to mount the USB inside Apple’s File app. And it allows you to open up and copy files. E.G. open up a word/excel document off the flash drive. I’ve even open keynote, pages, JavaScript text files. So it works like a USB drive. But sometimes, it can get flakey when you try to move files around sub-folders.. It has a slight lag and sometimes hangs.
