I find it amusing that Apple wants ical installed along with isync, like they're trying hard to push ical knowing full well that it's not helpful to most. If it wasn't for isync, ical would have no business taking up valuable space on my HD.
I feel the same way. I feel trapped by iSync's value and having to use iCal.
(And yes, I know there are importers, etc., but no solution is clean. Plus, with my vital calendar info, I don't risk adding another point of failure.
