What do you make of the cut outs where the Antenna bands are? Does it effect the looks of the case too much?

What do you make of the cut outs where the Antenna bands are? Does it effect the looks of the case too much?
I did not receive any plastic ones but there is a Youtube video reviewing them here. I believe the PC means Polycarbonate which will be Plastic.
