Good I am sooooo happy you like iCloud... When's the wedding?

Mark my words...Apple's agenda is quite clear here. It seems you fail to realize that and enjoy them making your choices for you.

And seriously.....do you enjoy telling people to calm down ?...If I feel that something pisses me off I will get as damn worked up about it as I feel I need to. Last thing I need is you telling me how to react to something that downright grinds my gears.

Good day mate😛

wow, do you want to sound any more immature?

i said to calm down as you were ranting like a madman and not making any coherent or rational points. things can piss you off, but if you're gonna post, just post rational rather than random points with no base in reality or fact.

i countered all your points rationally, with facts and calmly, i was trying to have a reasonable discussion. You obviously cannot come up with any rational and reasonable counter points to mine and you start with the paranoid comment that apple is trying to take over the world (ok slight exaggeration, but since you seem to be entitled to it, i'll take that liberty now).

Additonal storage for backing up photos?

Hiya

Not that I want to add fuel to the fire here, but have a question I cant find the answer to easily...

On i-cloud, if you buy additional storage, can you use this to back up the photos that are not in your photostream?

Chapati

iCloud backs up any photos in your camera roll. It does not back up photos synced from your Mac/PC.

Can someone please help me with a couple photostream questions that I have?

Has Photo stream always counted against the storage on the device or is this an ios 6 "feature"? I'm wondering why it counts as 450 mb against my ipad and only 200mb towards my iphone storage. I took the pics with my iphone only. I was under the impression photostream was only stored in icloud.

Thanks for any help

iCloud keeps the most recent 30 days of photos (from any Photo Stream-enabled device), up to 1000 total. Yes, they're being stored in iCloud, but they are also stored locally on your device. Pictures aren't "streamed" to your device on demand; that would make for a terrible user experience because there'd be a delay while you flipped through them. As far as the iPad vs. iPhone storage space, I suspect that the iPad is keeping a higher-resolution version since it's a higher-resolution display.
