Not working in The Netherlands...

Mail was unable to open this mailbox on the server “p68-imap.mail.me.com”.
The server returned the error: Server Busy. Please try again later. (took 0 ms)

It originally said, “Some users may be unable to receive mail,” before switching to “Service may be slow or unavailable.” Thankfully, once the issue was resolved for me (Denver, CO), I received emails dating back 3 hours to when my issues first started. So hopefully no emails lost.

If you get locked out of an @icloud.com it's a nightmare trying to get it reset. I'd always recommend using a 3rd party email provider.
 
Has been down for me for over 8 hours (AU). But some emails are slowly starting to get through. I was able to verify my registration here :)
 
My wife kept complaining about messages appearing and reappearing, including read to not read. She said, "I think I have a virus..." So, I have been checking and analyzing etc. Glad it is not just me.

Just have to wait until they fix the issue.
 
Yea won’t lie.. this outage really annoyed me.
I was waiting for emails re doctor documents and couldnt attend my appointment because I couldnt access them to fill them in. Appointment missed😑

Seeing lots of issues with iCloud mail accounts:
  • Read messages revert to unread
  • macOS Mail filters not working
  • Deleted messages reappear
Hopefully they will have a fix soon.
Same here - still happening this morning, over 12 hours now :(
 
I forgot that's a thing. I think I've seen more people with AOL accounts than with iCloud mail
It is the worst free e-mail platform out there. Safari is the worst browser as well. The mail app is bad as well. While notes has gotten better I still can’t highlight text in it. The web versions of their apps are simple horrible.
 
My Mail service is working again here on the west coast of US. It looks like service was restored early in the morning, so it was probably down for roughly 12 hours.....but that's just a guess. This is by far the biggest issue I have had with iCloud services. In general, it has been reliable for me.

Still not working properly in the UK. Messages are very delayed coming through and I have to manually refresh most times.

While mine seems to be ok I'm having a problem with the displayed snippet in the mailbox list and the actual message. Seems like the headers are disconnected from the body. I click on a message in the mailbox list and a different message shows up in the preview window.

While email seems to now be working, I still have email from during the outage where the email was delivered during that outage timeframe, I can see who the email is From and the Subject, but the contents of the email are still missing.

I have no idea if the contents of the email are lost forever, or if somehow it will be repopulated? Very frustrating. :mad:

Check on another Apple device if you have one. This happened to me today as well, I couldn't view the email properly on my iPhone but was able to see it fine on my Mac.
