100% up time is fantasy and realistically not technically achievable. There's so many points of failure, no matter how much redundancy you buy/implement, there will always be a failure point.

How much does Apple have?

I have noticed several people recommending Immich for photos. I am looking at that now. I am familiar with what Nextcloud provides.

Are you using a Nextcloud provider? If so, would you mind sharing which provider you use?

I'm running Nextcloud AOI (all in one) in Docker. No nextcloud provider.

I was rationalising & trying to purge mailboxes in iCloud - with 132,000 emails. I apologise for your outages.

My notes and reminders were not syncing between my Apple devices(iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, macOS) and I thought it was internet issues. Restarted all devices then went to sleep. It started to work normally in the morning

It's articles like this that reassure me I shouldn't migrate away from google workspace and use icloud with my email domain.

This kinda stuff makes me curious what causes it. Is it due to server side upgrades Apple does and then something breaks or is something else causing the issue? Just interesting the root cause of their system/server issues
