Not true. When I put together my theme I didn't have the masking file and the icons always came out exactly how they were.

if you use the icon method, it'll be square, but if you use the bundle method for app store apps, it should come out regularly

does anybody have this?
http://365psd.com/bundle/
i'm just interested in these two icons, included in the bundle.

Thank you cramps

Ok... why can I not find this theme ?
Only sporadic icons ??

Because it's a work in progress and hasn't been released, you won't find the icons anywhere, just rips from Dribble previews.

Map: I emailed you the SMS icon.

I'm having a weird problem with a couple of my icons, specifically iMovie and Yelp, no matter what icon I use to replace the stock one they end up with this faded look to them, as can be seen in the images I uploaded. I'm guessing these icons automatically apply some sort of mask or something, but I'm not sure, I've seen others with custom Yelp and iMovie icons that don't have this problem so there has to be a way to fix this. The Yelp and Facebook icons are both from UPS Darkness yet as you can see the Yelp icon looks all faded..

I'd appreciate any help..

You need to go into the app's folder, var/mobile/Applications/xxxxxxxxxx/iMovie.app/ <--- here find and open the info.plist and change this line:

<key>UIPrerenderedIcon</key>
<false/>

Change the "false" to "true". This will remove the glossy overlay.
Can easily be done on the phone with iFile.

Not doing this right

My icons are sometimes not changing. Well sometimes I respring and they work and sometimes they don't. I am trying to use the prestige icons.

i'm having the same issue, my icons aren't changing even though i believe i'm doing it correctly....

more specifically: facebook, cydia, installous, yelp and scrabble will not change

basically any app that didn't come installed on the phone, i'm having trouble changing the icons of...

going through ssh, anyone have any tips?

If u guys are on 4.2.1 some of the bundles icons changed from when they were on 4.1

For example, camera has it's own bundle com.apple.camera w/ Icon@2x.png

Photos is the same com.apple.mobileslideshow BUT now icon2x.png

Download app info in cydia, and you can get bundle names real quickly

Hope this helps

thanks for the info :)
any ideas why theres a shadow on some of the icons? (two posts above)
and idk why photo album and mywi arent changing?
oh and where's ifile? i cant find it?

Awesome! Thank you!!:)

Weird, tried it with iFile and it didn't work with the iMovie icon, I can't find that line in info.plist in the Yelp app..

Edit: Working for iMovie, just had to re-spring a second time!!
