LOL--I should have known you'd have the original! Took it into Photoshop, just magic wand selected the interior & cleared it. Result:

I wish all the transparent themes a) didn't have the stupid black icon issue and b) weren't so hard to make custom icons for. Yeah, I know I'm asking for a lot here. LOL But I'd use Glasklart or Fifty Foot in a heartbeat if I didn't have so many icons that don't fit the themes, and since removing the icon mask to fix the black box problem then screws with the unthemed icons, it seems there just isn't a great solution.

I would love to see the outcome of your set up. with the fifty foot shadows folder. I love that theme too but I hate the slide show. I want JUST the icons.

Thanks--yes, I had seen that fix, but it then makes all the unthemed icons square...which isn't a solution as far as I'm concerned, since with 100+ apps on the phone, there are plenty that aren't themed. And that's another issue, since with the transparent themes, it takes a good deal of work and talent to make even mediocre custom icons, so it's not like I can complete the theme for my own setup. I think for now, I'll have to stick with the more traditional setups. Just wish Apple didn't find it necessary to keep throwing roadblocks like this at themers with each new firmware upgrade. It's just stupid and petty of them.

As far as the folders go, my solution is posted above--the fiftyfootshadows folder icon was definitely a couple of pixels smaller than regular icons, and it just didn't look right. I'm pleased with the new clear "folder" shaped icon I modded; the border could probably stand to be a pixel or two thicker, but this is just enough to be visible without being too cluttery. Again, if only we could skin them with regular icons--I miss CategoriesSB for that!

For fiftyfootshadows, you should be able to just pull the app bundles with the icons from the theme and use just those, leaving off the slideshow and other UI elements. I haven't looked too closely at how the theme is put together, but most themes are pretty easy to take apart like that, and I've seen plenty of screenshots of that theme with other backgrounds/widgets.

I'm using the fifty foot shadow icons and a lot of icons have not changed over including the folder icon. even the standard iphone icons didn't change. I have downloaded a few images to replace those but I cannot figure out for the life of me where and how to change these icons. its driving me crazy. AND since I changed out of glasklart my icons have square backgrounds with the outline of the curve. its so weird and frustrating. I try and try to find different "how to" sites but they aren't clear enough for me to understand.
 
Anybody possibly have any variations of the Todo icon or something similar?

I'm just trying to get away from the "book" look. The original in retina resolution would be ideal.
 
I've resized and uploaded and it just doesn't look the same as the rest of them. The shading on the underside of the icon is different. I think I may just be stuck with what Appigo wants us to have.

and place the icon image over the mail image in this icon so it is turned like the mail one and has the dots on the side rather than below like that?






Can't figure this out for the life of me and don't have photoshop or anything. Would really appreciate it!

Does anyone have the PSD for this icon? Since having the PSD would do me no immediate good (I have zero PS skills currently and would have to learn) is there anyone that would want to do a whole set of iPhone (Apple and Cydia) icons using this as a template? It would be cool :rolleyes:

Pretty sure that's the Edius HD phone icon. The PSD is included with the download.
