Im new to all this and Im having a little problem. Im using OpenSSH and WinSCP to install the icons but theyre coming out huge. Am I supposed to resize them somehow?

Are they icons saved from this thread? Pretty much all the ones I've seen here are sized correctly, but if not they should be 57x57 for older devices and 114x114 for retina.
 
i have several requests... (iPhone 4S, 5.0) I'm going for a gun theme, all colors black and grey.

1) a signal bar image, hand gun ammunition, 1 round of ammuntion replacing each bar (total of 5 for full strength). Just black and grey colors.

2) wifi request, a bullseye targe. Just the bulleseye for low strength, one ring for med, two rings for strong.

3) 3G icon, a Glock 17

4) Edge icon, a pistol magazine

Thats a lot, but any help is appreciated. If you can at least tell me the pixle/picture dimensions i may try and create myself. Thank you!

Yes Im using the icons from this thread. Im not sure what you mean by retina? I have the iphone 4s.
 
Sorry to be the noob, but im interested in changing a few icons after seeing some real good ones in this thread.

I replaced the icon@2x.png file for the Youtube app but after reboot the icon didnt change. Am I doing something wrong? any advice/tips/guide would be much appreciated! TIA!

Let me guess... You are using a theme? And that theme changed your original Youtube icon? If so, var/stash/theme.xxx/themename.theme/com.apple.youtube

Change that icon@2x.png
 
Could I request for a folder icon similar to the default one but with a dark matte background within the frame? Many thanks!
 
I'm using Anylockapp so I can switch the camera app in the lock screen to any other app I want. Which file do I have to change and where do I find it so that I can change that lock screen icon?
 
Can someone please make this into a retina size icon and make the edges round. You can cut off the top and bottom parts of the black line.

Is this something along the lines of what you meant?

EDIT - fixed it to be more "Icon"-esque
