MacRumours member Serban, the individual who claims to have tested the next-generation 13-inch MacBook Pro has "confirmed" that these images are indeed of a new fanless MacBook: http://imgur.com/a/Cri3T

Look out for a review/leak by Jon and/or an announcement by Apple tomorrow.

Wow! If it's true Apple is releasing a 13" rMB this week, that means something big is happening at WWDC and they want to get this out of the way and not have to devote any timeslot.

Why this week? wouldn't it make more sense for it to be unveiled at WWDC, which is only 2 weeks away! unless Apple are going to announce the new Macbook Pro's at WWDC (altho the latest report said Q4).

Yea considering they have around 2 to 2 and a half hours at WWDC they would have plenty of time to announce this new Macbook so i'm guessing maybe they will announce the new Macbook Pro's at WWDC and want to devote more time to them to talk about a new design and it's features.

HP Spectre 13.3 is super thin like the macbook 12", but only 2.45 lbs. If Apple releases a macbook 13", I'm assuming it would be about that weight or less. I held both the retina macbook 12" and HP specre 13.3 side by side. Even though it is only 0.4lbs the difference it is very noticeable.

I'm still holding off for WWDC announcements before ordering a 12". Sold my MBP 13" after backpacking for two weeks lugging that thing around. It's only 3.5lb, but you'll feel the weight on prolong travel.

If you check out Jon Rettinger`s twitter it`s very clear.

Exactly, not sure why people are confused. Very obvious he was trolling everyone. People are too gullible. Apple has never allowed tech contacts to publicly tease pre release products. Even Mossberg can't do this.
