I saw an evo in person for the first time the other day. I'm sure the bigger screen is nice for browsing, but it honestly looked ridiculous next to someone's head being used as a phone. And it wouldn't fit in a lot of pockets. 4" maybe I could go for, but that's the absolute limit.

ever have that problem on your iPhone where you have to keep swiping left and right on your safari browser to view everything in its entirety? yeah, 4.3' users don't have that much of a problem with that.

4.3 is too big? valid complaint. im currently droid x owner and i LOVE it to death. however, i think 4' would be ideal.

Uh no. My cousin has a Droid X, and the resolution is too low to render text zoomed all the way out on most pages that I visit . On the iPhone 4, I can read text on almost any website without having to zoom in.

A 4.3" screen while maintaining the 326ppi would be interesting though, I think I'd be okay with that... that'd be around 1280x720. IMO a 4.0" screen w/ that 1280x720 would be ideal.

Wouldn't be apples style to do so. Their flagship is the iphone. They possibly could come out with a 4 inch screen. But to offer different option, to me it's not their style.

I wouldn't mind a 4 inch screen ONLY if it didn't take away from the incredible screen quality it has know. No other smartphone comes close in crispness. iphone 4 screen is like looking at a printed piece of paper.

They could probably pull it off. They sell all their macs in multiple sizes, don't they? Why not do that w/ the iPhone? Maybe even rebrand the current size as iPhone mini and then sell a larger one as the standard model. Or leave the current product as is and make the larger one called the iPhone HD or something.

It doesn't really matter what they call it, my point is Apple can market it if they wanted to.
